Why Not Learn A Language

It doesn't hurt to learn a new language. It gave me a job opportunity. It all started nine months ago at my former college. There was a job fair and I was in a desperate need of a new job. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I wanted to work for a very successful credit union bank in my city. I made sure I came to school with a dress shirt and tie. I was dressed professional and gave them my resume. I spoke to one of the assistant directors and learned that they had several different positions available. I know there were other students applying but I still felt confident. I had managerial experience that would put me ahead of the bunch. I waited and waited for two weeks and there was no phone call. I called them and I was told that they were still reviewing applications, but they will call me if I met their requirements. It turned out that I didn't get hired. I later learned that one of my class mates were hired at that particular bank. I talked to her and she told me, they were looking for people who can speak Spanish because most of their customers/ clients speak Spanish. I was shocked for half a minute and thought about it. I know the area well, and there are a lot of Latin natives from that area. I went home feeling a little cheated, but that's the real world. A few months had passed and I discovered this online training called Rocket Spanish. I wasn't even searching for a language course at the time, it felt like this was a gift from above. It also stated that I would learn Spanish in eight weeks. I did some research and the product felt pretty solid. Then I downloaded the program because I couldn't wait. I couldn't believe it. If I knew learning another language was that simple I would have done this a long time ago. Hopefully someone would have blessed me by exposing me to Rocket Spanish. Last month, I reapplied at the bank job, and guess what? I was hired with in a week. I shared this information with my friends and now I'm sharing it with you. Plus, the website has lots of other languages you can learn. There's also free downloads on their page. Please go check it out. I would also like to hear your story, so leave a comment. Quiero saber lo que usted pensó. I want to know what you thought.

P.S. Don't forget to share this valuable information.
